Our St. Louis Branch of Sterett Crane & Rigging had a crane rental on our Liebherr LTM 1250-6.1 recently. We had 236’ of main boom and 118’ of jib at a 45-degree offset with 104k lbs. of counterweight to set steel on this roof. The building was 16 stories tall and required the team to have impeccable communication between the operator and crew on the roof ensuring everybody’s safety. It was fairly windy and with that much boom and jib out it is a testament to the operators skill level to complete the task at hand and put another job in the books.
