The Nashville branch of Sterett Crane & Rigging had an amazing opportunity recently. We helped several different contractors complete the refinish on the State Capitol in downtown Nashville! We had our Terex Explorer 5800 out there replacing the copper roof, setting up and tearing down the scaffolding, and utilizing a man basket to assist in getting the workers to the top of the building. It took 230’ of main boom and 68’ of jib to complete the job. Just looking at the pictures really puts into perspective the height the tip of the crane was. The job had to be completed over several weekends due to the State Capitol needing to stay open and we were happy to accommodate and stamp our name in part of the history in Nashville.
