Our St. Louis branch of Sterett Crane & Rigging had a crane rental job located just south of St. Louis this past month. The project required us to use our 660-ton, CC2800 Demag crawler crane with 236’ of main boom, 236’ of luffer, super lift and hydraulic wagon with 661k lbs. of counterweight. The crane lift load was over 350,000 lbs. and required our 80-ton Rough Terrain Crane to assist in crane assembly. We also had our 300 Ton Hydraulic Truck Crane on site for setting the house, car body, and tracks. Sterett Heavy Haul was a huge help bringing in a staggering 40+ loads and made sure everything was on time and organized. Every detail of the job had to be planned out meticulously due to a small setup space and our new CCDemag 2800 crawler crane and assembly crane line up was the perfect fit. We are proud of our team from the office to the operators for organizing and executing a large job like this. It’s opportunities like these that really showcase not only our top of the line equipment but also the skill level we operate at and all of the in-house services we can bring to bare on a project.
