Our St. Louis branch of Sterett Crane & Rigging had the opportunity to replace some clarifiers and catwalk recently. We used our 275 Ton Liebherr LTM 1220 and had 113’ of boom out with a load that was over 20k lbs. It took several days to finish picking all the pieces and luckily the weather cooperated with us. We had to pay careful attention to get the crane in the correct position due to driving on the narrow levy. The rigging was an important factor as well requiring us to have 60’ legs for the pick. Our team was very familiar with the type of job this was and effortlessly pulled it off.
